BOOK SIX

What is real. What is illustrated.

By · Published

The opening story is an observed NetOps IQ deployment account, confirmed by its CTO and approved by the customer for publication. The agency and location are withheld.

Independent evidence means public records support the event or vulnerability described.

Illustrative scenes explain a decision or workflow. They are constructed scenarios, not customer incidents. All cinematic artwork is conceptual and does not depict the customer site.

Product descriptions reflect NetOps IQ material. Device support, permissions and service checks must be agreed for each deployment.

This book follows one practical problem: the devices that guard a building are computers, and making them safer must not stop them doing their jobs. Responsibility needs a named owner. A closed attack path needs evidence. A working door, camera or alarm needs its own check.
